ADO implemented this project in District Layyah in five union councils (Baseera, Sahoo wala, Loohanch, Jakharr, Kotla Haji Shah).
SPECIFIC PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT
- Safe and standard living conditions for the flood affected population through the support (Material, Labor and technical teams) on the construction of at- least 886 one room shelters with sanitation facilities.
- Increase the knowledge on better construction techniques which prevent the flood on building through training of local artisans.
- Building Awareness in families on hygiene issues.
KEY ACTIVITIES
- One-Room Shelter with Sanitation Facilities
- Provided One Room Shelter with sanitation facilities to the destitute and most vulnerable families.
- Technical trainings to the Local Artisans on DRR techniques
- Provided Training to skilled/semi-skilled artisans on disaster risk reduction techniques through master artisans.
- Hygiene promotion trainings
- Provided hygiene trainings in five Unions councils (Baseera, Sahoo wala, Loohanch Nasheb, Jakher, Kotla Haji Shah) to increase the healthy level on household basis.
Terms of Reference (ToR)
Tasks include creating awareness on women-friendly laws, promoting social cohesion, and ensuring effective service delivery in health and education sectors. Forums will also maintain records and participate in relevant advocacy activities.
